The Army That Faces Tibet Invaders - A Lewis-gun section of the Tibet Army, wearing new and old types of headgear. It is this army that is facing Chinese Communists reported to be approaching Lhasa, the Tibetan capital. Security measures are being taken along India's frontier with Tibet because the country that is known as the roof of the world because of its high mountains and arid desert plateaux is considered to have very little chance against the invaders.
