Mau Mau Let Mother and Children Go , UnharmedYoung British mother, Mrs. Anne Lovat Carnelly, 29, with her two children, David, 2½, and Jane, eighteen months, pictured to,day (Wednesday) after Mau Mau terrorists had captured them but let them go unharmed after a raid on their farmhouse at Naivasha, some fifty miles from Nairobi, Kenya. Mrs. Carnelly attempted to fire on the raiders, but her gun jammed and she hid with her children in the bushes. The terrorists dragged from hiding and she pleaded with the gang leaders self,styled General Mgombi to let her children go unharmerd.
