New Belgian Stratosphere Balloon -- Prof. Piccard can be seen at the Porthole of the gondola.Professor Auguste Piccard yesterday inspected the new stratosphere balloon in which Dr. Cosyns and a companion hope to a second into the stratosphere shortly. The balloon is being prepared at the Brussels University.As he looked out the gondola porthole of his balloon Professor Piccard said he was going up "twice as high as Everest". That's what he did.
