82 Passengers Will Fly in Tourist Clippers Eighty-two passengers and crew of six about to board the tourist class Pan-American Clipper Liberty Bell for a trial flight. The Liberty Bell is the first of 18 aircraft to be operated on the new service. Tourist class transatlantic service between Britain and the United States will be inaugurated by Pan American airways on May 1. The new low-cost service will be operated with pressurised 1006B tourist clippers carrying 82 passengers as against the 56 n
