Picket Union Office -- Three-year-old Karen Geuther parades with her daddy, Jim Geuther, reservations clerk, in front of the Airline Pilots Association Union headquarters in protest against the strike of pilots, which has put Karen's dad on the temporarily unemployed list, when the white collar workers were furloughed without pay. Unemployment is totally unacceptable to a Christian conscience. Any Government which accepts or deliberately creates a pool of unemployment is unfit to govern. To load on to a section of the people, and those least able to bear it, the price of inflation, is immoral and unjust. October 25, 1946. (Photo by AP Wirephoto).
