Royal Visit To Norway -- The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh a the world famous Holmenkollen ski jump. To the right of the Duke, the guide, the ski expert Einar Bergsland.On the 24th June Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh arrived in Oslo on a 3 day state visit to Norway. This is the Queen's first visit to any country outside the British Commonwealth. The second day of the visit included a garden party at the British Embassy and a royal Galla Performance at the National Theatre in the evening. June 25, 1955.
