The Slums of Glasgow. In the series Photographs of Old Closes, Streets, & c., Taken 1868-1877 Annan recorded the slums of Glasgow in 40 pictures just before they were razed to make way for new, clean, and better housing for labourers in the Scottish manufacturing city.
