'Test-Bed on Wheels' is to Race - The massive engine which lies under the bonnet is shown in this picture of the David Brown Lagonda - an entirely new competition car - taken at a secret test circuit when it made its first run.At the wheel is Mr. David Brown, who carried out the first series of test runs.The car, which has a 4½ litre V12 engine, is described as an experimental test-bed on wheels'. It is being entered for international events because racing provides the most arduous test.The David Brown Lagonda will make its first appearance at the Silverstone circuit on May 15.
